POOCH PLAYOFFS 2025
Hello everyone,
I am excited to invite you to join us for Pooch Playoffs 2025, a heartwarming photo competition dedicated to supporting Friends of RCACP, the local group of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of RCACP animals while they are in the shelter.
What is Pooch Playoffs? Pooch Playoffs is a fun and engaging event where pet owners can showcase their furry friends in a friendly bracket style competition.
Once the competition begins people will be able to vote for the cutest canines and watch them progress through the challenge. The winner advances to the international competition and a chance to win more donations to the charity. All proceeds go towards supporting Friends of RCACP, making this meaningful way to give back to those animals in need.
Why This Matters: This will not only help us create a memorable event but also contribute to a cause that makes a big difference in the lives of the RCACP rescue animals in need.
How is this going to work? With March Madness NCAA Basketball tournament coming up and as a professional photographer who loves to photograph pets, I thought it would be fun to play off the excitement that everyone is talking about this time of the year.
To coincide with March Madness, I am taking a part in competition, which we are calling 'Pooch Playoffs" I will be hosting a small competition for the Ulti-Mutt Cutest Pup in Roanoke Valley and creating pawsome photography portraits of 16 dogs during limited edition-photography sessions that take place thought February 2025.
Participants will donate $99 entry fee and have their dog professionally photographed. In exchange they will receive limited edition portraits session of their dog, a keepsake keychain with their paws pup's competition portrait and a sWag bag of goodies from local businesses. The final four pups and the Ulti-Mutt winner will receive additional prizes and barking rights!
100% of the $99 participation fee is being donated to Friends of RCACP (Regional Center for Animal Care & Protection charity).
